Cedar Park (Williamson County) – A youth baseball and softball organization will move its headquarters to town after canceling plans to bring development to Hutto.
The city council voted on September 23 to approve the deal with Perfect game, as recommended by the city’s Economic Development (Type 4A) and Community Development (Type 4B) corporations at last week’s meeting.
Perfect game inc., currently based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will make an estimated capital investment of $ 4 million and hire 40 full-time employees. Perfect Game will also allow the city to use the ball fields for the community, local nonprofits and government entities for at least 25 days a year, free of charge.
Construction of the facility is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2022 and end on March 1, 2024.
Under the agreements, Perfect Game commits to a 20-year lease for 80 acres of land owned by the city from its community development company 4B. Besides, PG Cedar Park Group LLC purchased 30 adjacent acres for commercial development.
The projects encompass a 112-acre site located near the northeast intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and East Whitestone Boulevard. The city’s Type B Community Development Corporation recently purchased the land from Krienke family.

Master Developer Josh sanders with August Capital Advisors (ACA), was hired by Perfect Game to be its Texas state manager in March, said he was thrilled with the location and the project.
